Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is the latest entry in this long-running fighting game franchise, which in previous installments has failed to perform or deliver satisfactorily to its target audience. The battles are interlaced with in-game cinematic cut scenes that do a good job of transitioning you from one battle to another. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition does not lack content in any way, despite the story mode being the biggest attraction of this installment. Feedback was taken from the e-sports community to make the game easily accessible to the competitive and professional gaming scene. The same is true for its online matchmaking system, as it provides incentive to play in the form of ladders and ranked matches.

The introduction of the super meter and X-ray moves is a huge addition to the combat and feel of the game. Fill the meter and unleash devastating X-ray moves that show a detailed close up of bones and organs being crushed, and weapons piercing skulls and spines. Also, animators have made fatalities all the more satisfying. You can finish off your opponents with new and classic fatalities. All in all, the game is well refined, packed with content and features, and brings back the core mechanics that made it popular back in the day. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition has a good chance of becoming a must-have for fighting game fans and a solid addition to any game library.
